India Meteorological Department on Monday informed that the south-west monsoon was active over North East states during last 24 hours. In its daily bulletin, IMD predicted that Light/moderate rainfall at most places with isolated Heavy to Very Heavy falls was very likely to continue over Northeast during the next five days. It stated that day temperatures had no large change over Meghalaya, Nagaland, Manipur & Mizoram and appreciably fell over Arunachal, Assam & Tripura during last 24 hours.
