In compliance with the announcement of Special Summary Revision (SSR) of photo electoral rolls by the Election Commission of India (ECI) with reference to January 1, 2024 as the qualifying date, office of Deputy Commissioner (DC) and District Election Officer (DEO) Kiphire has notified the scheduled for the SSR of photo e-rolls.
In a press release, DC and DEO Kiphire, John Tsulise Sangtam has informed the following schedule – House to House verification by BLOs, July 21, 2023 to August 21, 2023; Rationalization/Re-arrangements of Polling Stations, Aug 22, 2023 to September 29, 2023; Publication of Integrated draft electoral roll, Oct 17, 2023; Period for filling claims & objection, Oct 17, 2023 to Nov 30, 2023; Special Campaign dates, two Saturdays and Sundays within claims and objection period to be decided/fixed by the CEO; disposal of claims and objections, by Dec 26, 2023; checking of health parameters and obtaining commission’s permission for final publication and updating database and printing of supplements, by January 1, 2024; final publication of electoral roll, January 10, 2024.
