Noted social worker Phuli Devi Sethi passes away

Social worker and eldest of the Jain community Nagaland, Phuli Devi Sethi wife of late Nemichand Sethi, of Mahabir Rice Mill family, passed away on March 16 at her residence in Dimapur.
She was 95 and leaves behind four sons and a daughter, 18 grandchildren and 26 great-grandchildren.
Late Phuli Devi Sethi was the former president of SD Jain Mahila Samaj, Dimapur. She was also involved in social work and made generous donations to charities during her lifetime. In her memory, NIITians of Dimapur center have been informed that classes would remain suspended on Thursday and Friday.
