A state level workshop on Swachh Survekshan Grameen (SSG) 2023, was held at the conference hall of Public Health Engineering Directorate (PHED), here on Friday. The main objective of the workshop was to survey sanitation and cleanliness status in the villages across the nation on an annual basis. The survey has been instrumental in fostering a spirit of healthy competition among villages to improve their service sanitation and hygiene status and towards creating cleaner villages across the country. The programme was chaired by, state HRD consultant, Sanitation & WSSO, PHED, Thenusoü Sekhose, while opening remarks was given by, Chief Engineer, Sanitation and WSSO, PHED, Er. Thsathrichem Sangtam. A presentation on “An overview on Swaschh Survekshan Grameen 2023” was delivered by research manager, Ipsos Rupali Mishra, who also delivered power point presentations on SSG – direct observation on household level, village level, public places and SBM (G) Plants.
