Ban on export

In view of the prevailing lean season and relative shortage of food grains in Nagaland, the State government has banned export of food grains for sale outside the State of Nagaland. Additional chief secretary, Food & Civil Supplies, Lalthara in an order dated June 27, 2008, stated that order would come into immediate effect, yill further order.
