Gov, CM, Dy. CM extend Naknyulüm greetings

Nagaland governor La Ganesan, chief minister Neiphiu Rio and deputy chief minister Y Patton have extended greetings to members of the Chang community on the occasion of Naknyulüm festival.


In his message, Ganesan said the festival was celebrated to signify the triumph of good over evil, noting that it was originally a religious ceremony to mark deliverance from darkness. He hoped that the festival would usher in peace and oneness among fellowmen.


State chief minister also hoped that Naknyulüm, which celebrates the triumph of good over evil, was observed in its true spirit, fostering unity and goodwill. Patton, on behalf of state BJP legislators, conveyed heartiest festive greetings and hoped that Naknyulüm was celebrated with joy and happiness.
