Assam Rifles organized a tree plantation drive at Wangto Chenloisho, Mon, to promote preservation of the ecosystem among the local population on July 31. A total of 150 saplings were planted by the locals of Wangto Chenloisho and Silam. Meanwhile, as part of its welfare activities, Assam Rifles organised a visit of school students and teachers under the initiative “A Day with Company Commander: Together We Shall, Make A Difference” at Chizami village, Phek. A total of 45 students along with five teachers spent their day with the Company Commander.
