Two students from Hollotoli School, Dimapur were selected to participate in 2nd edition of Akhil Bhartiya Shiksha Samagam (ABSS) held at the ITPO complex, Pragati Maidan, New Delhi from July 29-30, 2023. The ‘samagam’ coincided with the 3rd anniversary of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.
The ‘Akhil Bharatiya Shiksha Samagam’ was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on July 29.
The team from Hollotoli School was led by the physics teacher, Arandhu Das Gupta and students- Arozen Aier and Nyanmongo S Ngullie of Class 12 science. They presented a project on “Smart Water Tap” which was meant to economies the use of water.
The two-day programme, focused on providing a platform for academics, sector experts, policymakers, industry representatives, teachers and students from schools, higher education and skilling institutions, among others, to share their insights, success stories and best practices in implementing the NEP 2020 and work out strategies for taking it further ahead.
