Three-day retreat concludes at SFXCC

A three-day retreat held at St Francis Xavier Catholic Church (SFXCC) Kidima concluded on July 30 with an exhortation by the secretary of Bishop, Diocese of Kohima, Nagaland, Rev. Father Vekupa George Rhakho.


A press release by SFXCC Kedima stated that in his message, Fr Rhakho explained that the retreat was an opportunity for the people to stop and look back one’s life, a time for purification and to experience of God’s love. Asserting the importance of family, he said the role of family was the core of the church and society.


The faithful’s confession was heard by Rev Fr Vekupa George and Rev Fr Megorekho Thomas, assistant Parish Priest, Mary Help of Christians, Cathedral Kohima. During the three-day retreat, Holy Mass, enchanting gloria and home visits were carried out.
