NBSE warns against unauthorised private agency

Nagaland Board of School Education (NBSE) on Wednesday disclosed that it has discovered an unauthorized private agency operating as an intermediary for applicants of the Board’s documents without the knowledge of the NBSE.

According to a DIPR report, the agency reportedly charged exorbitant fees to the applicants before sending the application forms to the Board.

Described as “unacceptable” the practice of the agency, the NBSE stated that such act has the potential to tarnish the good image of the Board and also posed a risk to the applicants.
NBSE has, therefore, advised the responsible agency or any other agencies involved in similar practice to stop such practice with immediate effect.

NBSE also cautioned that applicants who apply for documents through such agencies would be doing so at their own risk, as such applications could be summarily rejected by the Board.

Applicants have, therefore, been advised to desist from seeking help from such agencies and apply directly to the Board’s office. Duplicate documents could be applied for in person and Migration Certificate could be applied for in person or through email at nbsedup@gmail.com with proper postal address, the board informed.
