GBUD (S)condemns abduction

GB Union Dimapur (Sadar) has vehemently condemned the alleged abduction of a truck driver by unidentified miscreants at Reliance Smart Point, Burma Camp, Dimapur on July 31. In a press communique, GBUD (S) president, M Y Ngullie and general secretary, T. Onen Jamir said the union was “strongly against such anti-social elements disturbing the peaceful atmosphere where prospective companies are apprehensive to set up businesses in the state”.

The union said such sort of negative activities has badly impacted on the employment prospect of the young unemployed youths, who instead had to seek jobs outside the state. GBUD (S) has also asked the law enforcing agencies to sternly deal against these kind of perpetrators as per the relevant law.
