Body recovered

In a fallout to Thursday night’s firing incident in New Market area, Kohima, police Friday recovered a bullet-riddled body from the area. According to police, the victim identified as one Yuingam Zimik (34) of Shangshak village, Ukhrul, received eleven bullets shots on the body. Police also recovered empty cases of assorted arms from the spot. Police said the victim was a ‘Corporal’ in NSCN (I-M) and was discharged last month.
