In view of multiple landslides and rockfalls following heavy rainfall over the past few days, deputy commissioner Phek, Kumar Ramnikant has ordered temporary restriction of all light and heavy vehicles along NH-29 between KM30,220 (near Kidima road Chakhabama) and existing KM 53,474 (near Kikruma village), which falls under Kohima-Jessami road (Package-II).
In this regard, DC has advised travellers to take an alternative route via Zuketsu-Kidima until further notice.
