Naga Council Dimapur (NCD) has released its 4th amended constitution at its conference hall, Dimapur on August 21. The constitution was dedicated and released by Holy Cross Parish Priest, Rev Fr John P M.
A press release by NCD stated that Rev. John in his speech said NCD Constitution was not like any other ordinary books, but included all rules and regulations, norms of discipline in civil society organizations, particularly for peace and harmony in its jurisdiction.
He blessed and prayed upon the constitution booklets and for Naga Council Dimapur office bearers and councilors to lead all communities in peace and harmony.
NCD president, Etsungmomo Kikon thanked the members of the committee for their time and wisdom in drafting the amendment in a record time, while vice president (admn), Holuto Aye, and convener, Constitution Amendment Committee, Zandi Domta delivered speeches on the importance of having good constitution for efficient functioning such as apex civil body.
