President of India, who also the Visitor of the Nagaland University, has appointed Dr. Samudra Gupta Kashyap as the chancellor of Nagaland University.
Dr. Kashyap, is a former state information commissioner of Assam and an eminent journalist. NU vice-chancellor Prof. Jagadish Kumar Patnaik has expressed his happiness and hoped that the appointment of Dr. Kashyap would accelerate the all-round development of the University.
