The travel advisories issued by deputy commissioner’s office Longleng regarding traffic movement on the Changtongya-Longleng NH-702 section of the road have been lifted.
According to DIPR, the Changtongya-Longleng section has now been open for movement of all vehicles, including heavy vehicles.
Drivers of both light motor vehicles and heavy vehicles passing through the stretch have been advised to exercise utmost caution while traversing the affected area. Commuters have also been asked not to halt, stop, or park their vehicles in or around landslide-affected areas to avoid risks to themselves and their co-passengers.
