Power deptt cautions public

Power department, Chumoukedima electrical division, has informed that the newly constructed 33kV Transmission Line from 66/33kV, 10MVA Sub-Station, Chumoukedima to newly constructed 33/11kV, 2.5MVA Sub-Station, NIT campus, Chumoukedima & 33/0.4kV, 500KVA Sub-Station, Railway Tunnel, No-1, Chumoukedima was energized on September 15 at 33kV. Executive Engineer, Chumoukedima electrical division, Er. Ahoto Aye, therefore, informed the public not to come in contact with electrical materials with the said transmission line and sub-stations. The department cautioned that it would not be held responsible for any accident arising due to non-compliance of its notice.
