A 32-year old woman was killed and another injured in a road accident near T.L. Angami Park, New Chumoukedima here on Tuesday. According to traffic police, the woman identified as Imlirenla succumbed to her injuries at CISHR (Referral Hospital), after the vehicle (NL-01H 2592) she was driving collided head on with a truck (NL-01G 6342) coming from opposite direction. The other occupant of the vehicle sustained minor injuries, traffic police said. They were proceeding towards Dimapur when the unfortunate incident took place.
