Dimapur Angami Baptist Nhichuko Krotho (DABNK) celebrated its 25th jubilee on September 24 at the Kuda Village Baptist Church (KVBC), Dimapur. The event was held under the theme ‘Grow in Grace’, drew its inspiration from 2nd Peter 3:18. The jubilant celebration was orchestrated by DBNAK and hosted by KVBC.
Children Ministry under DNBNK has membership from Kevijau Baptist Church, Phevima Baptist Church Angami Baptist Church Razhuphe, Town Baptist Church Nhichuko Krotho, Angami Baptist Church northern Angami Colony, and Kuda Village Baptist Church.
Director of ABNK, Azonuo Ciesotsu as speaker emphasized the paramount importance of the Bible, urging believers to lead a life of humility, aligned with the will of God. She also stressed on having unwavering faith marked by disciplined spirit and discipleship. Echoing the teachings of Peter, Ciesotsu highlighted the looming judgment of end times and urged believers to demonstrate genuine commitment, not merely in words but through conscious efforts, consistent prayers, and Christ-like love. Ciesotsu, further urged the attendees to offer prayers for regions where the essence of Christianity has dwindled, despite being its birthplaces.
The jubilee souvenir, was blessed and unveiled by the event’s key speaker, Azonuo Ciesotsu. Advisor, DBNAK Nimeno Liegise delivered the welcome address centering on the celebration of God’s enduring faithfulness, children evangelism, and the pure joy stemming from a child’s innocence. Secretary DABNK, Kerino Meyase, presided over the gathering which was marked with acts of adoration and performances from churches affiliated with DBNAK.
