All Nagaland Hindi Teachers Union (ANHTU) Tuesday announced that its phase-III agitation would go ahead as proposed against non-payment of nine months’ salary by the state government. In a joint press release, ANHTU president, Rometo Sema, and CSS Hindi Teachers convenor, Ilika Aye, said the phase-II agitation by CSS Hindi teachers was over but there was no positive response from state government till date. In this regard, ANHTU has directed all CSS Hindi teachers to wear black badge and reach the directorate of school education, Kohima on March 15, 2017 at 9 a.m. The union has reminded its members that to resort to violence during the agitation, since the protest was “purely non-violent agitation.”
