DoSE directs schools on safety and security

Department of School Education (DoSE) has reiterated the critical importance of adhering to the Guidelines on School Safety and Security, 2021, as notified by the Government of Nagaland through notification dated November 29, 2022.


According to DIPR report, the guidelines apply to all categories of schools operating within the State of Nagaland including government, private, KV, JNV, CBSE, CISCE, and EMRS schools.


The Guidelines on School Safety and Security, 2021, have been enacted to establish a framework for holding School Management accountable for the safety of children enrolled in all schools, both government and private. The guidelines, which came into effect on November 29, 2022, are accessible on the department’s online education services portal at https://dosenl.in.


All heads of schools have been urged to diligently implement those guidelines and ensure the safety and security of all students under their care.
