Poll duty: CVOAs Mkg demand payment

Commercial Vehicle Owner’s Associations (CVOAs), Mokokchung has served seven-day deadline to SP Mokokchung demanding disbursement of commercial fares incurred during 14th NLA election duty held in February 2023.


In an ultimatum, five associations- Truck Owners Association Mokokchung, Private Bus Union Mokokchung, Pick-up Union Mokokchung, Two wheeler Association Mokokchung and president All Nagaland Taxi Association Mokokchung unit warned that they will be forced to impose “Chakka Bandh” on commercial vehicles on the failure to comply with their demand.


The associations have also stated that they will accept only “pre-paid payment” for their services in the upcoming Lok Sabha election 2024, if their services were required.
