1 shot dead

An activist of the GPRN/NSCN was shot dead after he was abducted reportedly by NSCN (I-M) cadres Saturday evening.
According to Police, the victim identified as one Shiwoto son of Ghunakha of Ighanumi village who was previously an SO in the GPRN/NSCN was abducted by the NSCN (I-M) cadres when he went to a garage to repair his vehicle. Police later recovered his dead body at the DDSC stadium at around 4 pm.
Meanwhile, the GPRN/NSCN has “severely” condemned the abduction and subsequent “clod blooded murder of Head Chaplain, Shiwoto Swu at Dimapur by I-M cadres”. Publicity cell of the GPRN/NSCN in a statement said the victim had gone to Bimal garage at Duncan Bosti to repair his vehicle where he was abducted and taken to Dimapur stadium and was killed. The statement said Shiwoto Swu, an ex-pastor was a humble and God fearing man who served the Lord throughout his life until the “cold-blooded I-M murderers killed him”.
