A one-day health mela was organized as part of the Ayushman Bhavah initiative, at the Health and Wellness Center (HWC) Sanglao village under Thonoknyu HQ, Noklak district on October 3. The mela was organised to provide essential health services and awareness to the local community.
The Health Mela featured a range of activities aimed at promoting public health, including: registration for Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (AB-PMJAY) and Chief Minister’s Health Insurance Scheme (CMHIS), Antenatal care (ANC) services for expectant mothers, Screening for non-communicable diseases, Screening for tuberculosis (TB) and hepatitis, Family planning services, Immunization services for children and Focus group discussions on various health-related topics.
The medical team at the health mela were Dr. Among MO (IAH) – Medical Officer; Puchio, Lab Technician at ARTC Noklak and Sujang BAC, Thonoknyu – Health Staff Over 100 patients and beneficiaries availed health services.
