Nagaland Governor, P.B. Acharya has appointed Imtikumzuk, deputy speaker of Nagaland Legislative Assembly (NLA), to take charge of duties of NLA Speaker, with immediate effect till the new Speaker was elected. Meanwhile, NLA has convened a meeting on March 9, at 11am in the Assembly Committee Room to finalise the provisional programme for the ensuing 15th session of the 12th NLA scheduled from March 21, 2017. Speaker in-charge and Business Advisory Committee chairman, Imtikumzuk, has requested BAC members to attend the meeting.
