PTCSU holds its first union assembly

Phek Town Chakhesang Students’ Union (PTCSU) held its first union assembly on February 25, at Phek town council, conference hall where all the executive council, senior members and colony representatives were present. 
The meeting was presided by the speaker followed by invocation prayer pronounced by Shekhrulu Dozo. The redrafted constitution was highlighted and amended with two third majority of the house by union assembly speaker, Shurhosheyi soho. 
The house with a genuine reason and understanding accepted the resignation proposal of vice president, general secretary, assistant general secretary and treasurer. President Thuputo Venuh inducted the newly elected office bearers on the vacant posts. Finance report was presented to the house by Vese Rhakho finance secretary. 
Nukuto Shijoh social and cultural secretary Chakhesang Students Union delivered a short speech on behalf of the Chakhesang Students Union’s office. House also unanimously agreed to adopt the following agendas for the year 2017.
Union has informed to organise an inter school tournament within Phek town, to organise an intensive free coaching class for class 10 students and to organise a seminar on women welfare. The union also resolved to conduct surprise checking on educational institutions and government offices it any giving point.
