Two-day, 3rd biennial women conference of Association of Gorkha Baptist Churches Nagaland (AGBCN) under the theme, “Deeper Walk with God” got under way at Life Spring Corner, Dimapur on October 6.
More than 300 delegates and officials from across Nagaland Gorkha/Nepali Churches were attending the three-day event. The opening ceremony was performed by host church Gorkha Baptist Church Thahekhu, showcasing a unique performance.
Rita Kabo, (Advocate/ Educator/ Bible Teacher/ Counsellor, Kathmandu Nepal), Kakheli Inato Jimomi (SDWM, WSBAK) and Beena Thapa (Women Secretary AGBCN) were the speakers of the conference. Praise and worship will be leaded by NBC New Medziphema Youth Department while the Camp Director of the Youth Conference was Ranjana Chettri (Women Board Member).
All together 40 Gorkha churches from Nagaland will be taking part in the 3rd Biennial Women conference of AGBCN. This was informed in a press release issued by Women secretary AGBCN, Beena Thapa.
