PWDFWAWU appeals

Public Works Department (PWD) Workers Association Wokha Unit (R&B) (PWDFWAWU) has appealed to the concerned department to release ‘leave without pay’ immediately from September to November 2003.
In a press note, president Chumthungo Kikon, finance secretaruy Nsungbeni and treasurer Mhalo stated that the finance department had already released payment since last month and accordingly, leave without pay was meant for work charge salaries. The association also cautioned that a group or individual had no authority to deduct any amount as court fee had been deducted several times. Association therefore has requested the concerned authority to make payment as per pay bill voucher i.e. September to November 2003.
