Kohima Tsungiki Khumshum (KTK) and Tsungiki Students Union in separate press notes have condemned the February 20 night firing incident where unidentified miscreants had fired at the house of Zaremo Kikon Darogapathar village Dimapur.
A press note by chairman KTK Eyingbemo Kikon and general secretary W. Phyophio Kikon, stated that in the absence of Zaremo Kikon the miscreants implanted fear, mental trauma to the peace loving family members and created drama in the neighbourhood. It also cautioned that such incident to its villagers would not be tolerated and urged the concern authority to investigate the matter and award befitting punishment to the perpetrators.
TSU: Tsungiki Students’ Union (TSU) also strongly condemned the cowardly act of the miscreants. The union president Mhademo S Kikon urged the investigating authority to probe the matter at the earliest.
