Fish kiosk at Tuensang town was inaugurated on February 27 by ADC Tuensang, T. Nchumbemo Odyuo as chief guest.
According to DIPR report, ADC speaking on the occasion, had congratulated the Fishery department and Chang Khulei Setshang (CKS) for achieving a milestone for constructing such store which would provide clean and hygienic fish to the people of Tuensang town.
He added that there should be a sense of responsibility in managing this Fish kiosk for better waste management, storage and improvement from traditional way of handling. He encouraged the management authority to provide local fish free from chemicals which would not only be good for health but also would enhance the economy.
Invocation prayer was pronounced by pastor TTBL, Rev. H. Sangkap. Short speeches were delivered by president CKS, M.P Nokshang and DFO Tuensang, Rongsenkumzuk. The programme was chaired by fishery demonstrator, O.Changlem.
