Body recovered

Dimapur Police recovered the bullet-riddled body of an NSCN (I-M) activist near Power House, opposite to Suresh Flour Mill, Burma Camp, Monday at around 6: 25 p.m. The deceased later identified as ‘Sgt’ Hokheshe Kinimi, son of Kikevi Kinimi of Lumami village, and presently residing at Super Market, Dimapur, bore four bullet wounds. Police also recovered four empty cases of 9 mm from the spot. The body was later handed over to the family members. According to unconfirmed reports the deceased had recently defected from the “NSCN/GPRN.”
