DSSU to provide free bus service for students

Dimapur Sumi Students Union (DSSU) would be providing free bus services at various designated points till the indefinite bandh is lifted. 
In a press statement by its president Tovika K Chishi and general secretary, Steve Chophy, pointed out that due to the total bandh the students’ community had been facing untold hardship and problems to reach their exam centres.  
DSSU also stated that under such prevailing situation the students were under fear psychosis and has therefore appealed the volunteers and all right thinking citizens to let the students pass without causing any psychological harassment.  
Further DSSU appealed all schools and institution to inform the students of the bus service provided by the union. DSSU call upon all the students irrespective of tribes and communities to avail the bus services at its various designated places and pick-up points.  One may contact president at 9089285588 and general secretary at 7085613161.
The designated bus stops: Green Park Junction towards Burma camp junction and city tower; Thilixu Junction towards Half-nagarjan , Dimapur Railway Station, Notun Bosti                   
Junction; Sub-Jail (Tin-Ali) Junction towards Dhobinulla and Nyamo Lotha Road; 
Sub-Jail (Tin-Ali) Junction towards Notun Bosti Junction and City Tower; Signal-Lomthi colony Junction towards Dhobinulla and DC Court.
DSSU has informed all students, teachers and invigilators to take the buses to exam centres which fall in the particular route. It also advised them to be at the designated place and pick-up points latest by 7.30 a.m for morning session and 11.30 a.m for the evening session.
DSSU further informed that buses were only for the purpose of dropping the students, teachers and invigilators to the exam centres. All students, teachers and invigilators have to produce admit cards and identity cards to the DSSU official in-charge.
