Indefinite economic blockade called under the under aegis of Mao Council on the NH 39 covering all Mao areas entered the third day today. The blockade was called after two senior student leaders of Mao Students Union (MSU) were assaulted “without any reasons” on Wednesday by the 8th Manipur Rifles in Tadubi under Senepati district. The Mao Council is demanding immediate termination of services and appropriate action to be awarded to the guilty jawans. (Correspondent)
