NNC/FGN resolves to protect territorial boundaries

National Workers’ General Meeting of the Naga National Council (NNC) and the Federal Government of Nagaland (FGN) have resolved to protect the territorial boundaries of all the Naga inhabited areas of Nagaland at any cost and to protect and abide by the “Yehzabo (constitution)” of Nagaland and the Lakhuti resolution of NNC on April 27, 1955.


This was one of the meeting resolutions adopted at the meeting of Naga National Council/Federal Government of Nagaland held at Urra Academy Hall, Kohima on October 30, 2023, signed by chairman, Lhouvitsu Kesiezie and s/secretary, Ipuakteung Riame.


The meeting re-affirmed the declaration of “Nagaland Independence” on August 14, 1947 and the plebiscite of May 16, 1951 as a sovereign state. It also resolved to strengthen the successive legitimate president of NNC, Adinno Phizo and Kedahge FGN gen (Retd) Viyalie Metha.
