A meeting minute signed by sessional chairman N Yantsuthong and sessional secretary Y Pongkiu stated that the resolution was taken at a public meeting at Kiusam HQ on October 28, 2023 over the misuse of power and office by the then office bearers of the TTC. The meeting decided to form interim office for a period of three months.

The new office under the banner of Tikhir Tribal Council (TTC) would function with P. Timong as chairman (head of the office) along with R. James as secretary and five members—T. Y Amongba, T. Yutsulim, Ato K, Limtimongand K. Asuthong—and P. Pensukiu as treasurer.

It was resolved that the new team would be formed officially after the general hoho meeting. The meeting also resolved to revoke the TTC letter dated October 3, 2023 regarding rejection/diversion of TTC hall cum office construction at Kiusam town.

Meanwhile, the meeting resolved that the dissolved TTC members would no longer be entitled to use/enjoy the powers and functions of the office with immediate effect.

The dissolved TTC members have been asked to surrender all the properties, files and assets that belonged to TTC office within 14 days i.e., or before November 11, 2023. It was decided that interim T’I’C office would represent the interest of the Tikhir general public and would work in coordination with the TSU, TWA, TGOA, TBBA.
