In partial modification the earlier notification, in compliance with sub-section (3) of Section 30 of the Nagaland Municipal Act, 2003, the Government of Nagaland has agreed to depute 35 (thirty-five) Senior Officers of the Government of Nagaland to be deployed as Observers during the ensuing General Election to Municipal and Town Council in the State. The State Election Commission, Nagaland, has appointed Hengkhohao Singson, NCS, Joint Secretary, Forest, to replace Gregory Thejawelie, NCS, Joint Secretary, SE & MD, SSA as ‘Election Observer’ for Naginimora Town Council in the ensuing Municipal and Town Council Election in Nagaland.
