PWC lifts 3rd inter-Higher Sec. girls’ Futsal Trophy

Pranabananda Women’s College (PWC) defeated Pranab Vidyapith Higher Secondary School (PVHSS) to clinch the 3rd Inter-Higher Secondary Girls’ Futsal Trophy title on Friday.


The two-day tournament culmination programme was held at Pranabananda Women’s College, Dimapur premises.
‘Best goal keeper’ was bagged by Niloke Zhimo and ‘best player’ by Imsulemla Sor, both from PWC.


The winner PWC and runners-up PVHSS received cash prizes along with trophies and certificates. The tourney was organized by PWC Innovative and Development Cell (IDC) with the objective to provide platform to the girl students, to create interest and empower them in the field of sports.


A total of eight institutions comprising of nine teams from different Higher Secondary Schools of Dimapur namely PWC, PVHSS, Eden Higher Secondary School, Pilgrim Higher Secondary School, Delhi Public School, Ram Janaki Higher Secondary School, AG Higher Secondary School and Cornerstone Higher Secondary School participated in the tournament.
