Additional Secretary, School Education, Government of Nagaland, Hiazu Meru has visited Government Higher Secondary School (GHSS), Jalukie on November 16.
According to a DIPR report, during the visit, the principal GHSS Jalukie, Asenla Pongen highlighted the difficulties faced in the school due to the shortage of teaching and non-teaching staffs for many years and has subsequently been affecting the smooth functioning of the school. The principal requested the Government of Nagaland, especially to Additional Secretary Meru to take up their grievances.
Additional Secretary Hiazu Meru also discussed the grievances shared by different schools during his visit to the schools and assured to take up the grievances shared by the school. After the meeting, along with the staff and SDMC members, an interaction session was also held with the class 10 and 12 students.
