Organisations have extended greetings and best wished to those celebrating “Chhath Puja,” a festival dedicated to the worship of Sun God.
Nagaland Bhojpuri Samaj has extended warm greetings to the people celebrating the “Chhath Puja” in Nagaland. The Samaj said the festival was observed with strict fast by the devotees, who pay obeisance to the Sun God and also his sister Chhathi Maiya on the banks of river and any water sources.
As thousands of people from the Bihar, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand and other parts of the country residing in Nagaland celebrate this festival, the Samaj wished that the festival marks the beginning of life, fortune and success for everyone.
In a separate greeting, Nagaland Bihari Samaj has extended “Chhath Puja” greetings to the people. The Samaj hoped that the festival light up new hopes and opportunities in people’s lives and fulfil all their dreams and leave them with a smile.
