State Forest Service Association Nagaland (SFSAN) held its first conference on November 15 at the Conference Hall, Forest Office Complex, Kohima.
A press release by SFSAN stated that during the conference, DCF president, Ango Konyak presented the stature of the association and highlighted its achievements. The conference deliberated on various procedures/issues of induction to Indian Forest Service (IFS), posting/officiating promotions of SFS officers, cadre/non-cadre issues and deliberations on the need of an early cadre review of the department which has not been done yet since inception of Nagaland.
During the conference, new team of executives were formed with Chupitho as president, Vivika A Sema as general secretary, Dr. Sevono Seletsu as treasurer for the tenure 2023-2026.
The closing remarks were given by DCF, M. Limaba, DCF, Enyiwekha, and NFESA president, Obed Bohovi Swu. A host of officers including DCF, Rampaukai, and DCF, Tokugha delivered talks in the conference, which was attended by SFS officers all over the state.
