Seyochung Area Students Union held its 22nd general session from January 5-8 at Yingphire village under the theme “prioritizing the priority” with United Sangtam Gazetted Officers’ Association president, Kashiho Sangtam, as chief guest.
In his address, Sangtam encouraged the students to be wise and take the right decisions. He also said the students should play a vital role in bringing development in the education field.
District Congress Committee president, Thritsali, who was the cultural chief guest while exhorting the students urged them to protect and preserve the moral and ethical values of the Nagas.
In the general session, new office bearers were also elected led by Sepikyu J. Jingrü as president, Chumseli as vice president, Holise as general secretary and Achumba as assistant general secretary.
