Governor to grace national conference at Medziphema

Governor of Nagaland, P.B. Acharya would grace the inaugural function of the 3- day national conference on “Advance in Indian Floriculture with focus on North East & Hill Region” as the chief guest on January 13 at Central Institute of Horticulture Medziphema.
According to DIPR report, the conference would be jointly organized by Indian Society of Ornamental Horticulture, New Delhi and Department of Horticulture, Government of Nagaland with the objective to provide impetus to the floriculture industry in the North East and Hill Region. The conference would deliberate on the issues in the floriculture sector by experts, poster would be presented on advanced technologies in floriculture and exhibitions would be organized highlighting the activities/programmes in the floriculture sector in NE states.
Agriculture and Horticulture Commissioner, Department of Agriculture, Cooperation and Farmers Welfare, Government of India, New Delhi, Dr. S.K. Malhotra and Ex-DDG (Hort), ICAR & Founder Chairman, CHAI, New Delhi, Dr. H.P. Singh will be the guest of honors at the inaugural programme.
