Unidentified body retrieved at railway platform

Dimapur police on November 25 retrieved a body of an elderly man (non-Naga), who was found lying at Railway station at Platform No.02.


Deputy Commissioner of Police (Crime) and PRO, Dimapur police informed that after observing all legal formalities, the man was immediately shifted to District Hospital, Dimapur for medical examination, but succumbed to his illness on November 28.

The release stated that on completion of all legal formalities, the body has been shifted to District Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.


The deceased was wearing black long pant and white shirt. Claimant/relatives/friends of the deceased have been requested to contact the Officer-in-Charge, GRPS, Dimapur. (7085055021)
