Concerned educated youths have formed a new regional political party “Liberal Democratic Party of Nagaland”, (LDPN) to contest 2018 state general election. According to media cell of the newly formed LDPN, the party was founded as a movement of the concerned people against the corrupted government and the brutal system. The party is headed by S. I. Pongen as president and Iskha Wotsa as general secretary with a motto “Liberty, Equality and Fraternity”. The party also supported clean election.
