TEA Kohima holds annual thanksgiving day

Tabitha Enabling Academy (TEA), Kohima celebrated its annual thanksgiving-day with advisor of CAWD & Taxes, Kudecho Khamo, as special guest.


Khamo emphasized the personal significance of the academy for differently-abled children and highlighted the true measure of progressive civilization as how society treats and supports individuals with special needs. Khamo also acknowledged the state government, chief minister Neiphiu Rio, and department of Social Welfare for their support.
The inclusive school, located at Chakhesang Baptist Church, Kitsubozou, promotes reciprocal learning for both normal and special needs children to coexist harmoniously which began with only 7 students and 3 staff, at present houses 35 students and 15 staff. The event included various other speakers and expressions of gratitude to those contributing to the academy’s growth and success.
