Ralana Area Students Union (RASU) held its 50th general conference on December 27-29 at New Ralan Village hosted by New Ralan Students Union, under the theme “honouring our past-creating our future” with MLA Mmhonlumo kikon as inaugural session chief guest, valedictory chief guest NSF president Subenthung kithan and associate professor (economics) MTC Wokha Dr. K. Zumomo Ovung as the theme speaker.
At the conference RASU also elected its new office bearers for the tenure of 2017-18 led by Nchumthung tungoe as president, Bobenthung humtsoe as general secretary, Sorenthung humtsoe as speaker.
RASU also extend gratitude to all the jubilee committees, seniors, host village, and all the govt job holders for their valuable contribution and making the jubilee a grand success.
