Nine persons were injured after a private bus bound for Noklak via Tuensang met with an accident on December 2 night before reaching Coco bridge near Wokha.
Additional SP Wokha Soriso K Quinker informed that the accident took place around 10:40 pm. He said nine injured passengers have been admitted and administered medical attention at the Civil hospital Wokha.
The other passengers left for Tuensang from another vehicle, Quinker said. The driver and helper were reportedly absconding. Additional SP Wokha on behalf of DEF Wokha, requested all travelers and drivers to avoid drinking and rash driving during the festive month.
