The 7th triennial general conference-cum-cultural festival 2017 at Tening village was held on Janaury 5, with Namri Nchang MLA as the chief guest.
According to DIPR report, Namri Nchang in his speech called upon all to preserve culture wherever they lived and asked the Tening village to set an example.
Achakbo Newmai, department of Agriculture also spoke in the occasion as guest of honour.
Reverend Kitanwi, Chewang E/S LBA invoked the gathering. Special number was presented by BYE Tening village. Welcome note was delivered by Namkiabui, chairman of TVC. Zengdibo Meriamai gave presidential address.
