An unidentified body of male non-Naga aged around 40-50 years was retrieved at KM NO-260/8 between Dimapur to Khatkhati on December 3.
PRO of Dimapur police informed that on receiving information of the body, duty party of GRPS, Dimapur rushed to the site and retrieved the body with “lacerated wound on the fore head and vertex region”.
PRO said that the deceased was suspected to be run over by a running train. On completion of all legal formalities the dead body has been shifted to District Hospital morgue for post-mortem examination and identification.
