Inter- denomination spiritual revival and mega crusade under the theme “Arise, Shine… As the glory of the Lord is risen upon you’ (Isaiah 60:1)” began at DDSC stadium on Tuesday.
On the opening day, Rev. Zotuo Kiewhuo, founder pastor of Koinonia Baptist Church and principal, Kohima Bible College was the Speaker on the first day of the crusade.
He spoke on the theme of the mega crusade.
Emphasising that Jesus Christ was born unto man and had liberated humanity from all bandages with breakthrough and had given salvation, he announced that the people were now a new and free people in Jesus.
He also devled into the book of Hebrew 12.2 “Looking into Jesus”, and exhorted the gathering to be a good soldier of Christ. During the program, message through song was presented by Koinonia Baptist Church Choir and the 15th NAP IR Mahilla Band, the finalist of India’s Got Talent (IGT).
Lanu Aier shared his testimony on how he was “Freed from Alcoholism”,
Zavihu Keretsü, senior pastor, Crossway Church made the offertory prayer.
The program was chaired by Khriezovolie Suokhrie, chairman, Men’s Fellowship Koinonia Baptist Church .
It may be mentioned that the ongoing Mega crusade will continue and run daily at 4pm and will culminate on December 10. On Wednesday, Samuel Sengupta, pastor, Atmik Jeevan Church, Bagdora will be the speaker. Meanwhile the Organising Committee has extended invitation and welcome the citizens of Dimapur and neighbouring districts to join the event.
